writer... |

Rockester is my pen name, but my
real name is Kathy. I make my
home in the Midwest but I was raised
in the beautiful state of Oregon. I
have been married to the same
wonderful guy for 21 years now and
we have two great kids. In
Oregon, we had rain and now I have
SNOW! :) I have kept scrapbooks and
photo albums all my life, but just
discovered archival methods within
the last 4 years. I also love
crafting, genealogy, and reading. |

Scrapbooking is the perfect hobby
for me as I can combine my 25 years
of crafting experience with my
English/Writing BA degree and tell
the story of our family, while
being creative. I have won
several punch art and page layout
competitions at regional and
national levels, and I have written
for over three years online about my
hobby. But my best
measure of success is when my
teenage kids pick up the scrapbooks,
page through them, and say, " I
remember when we did this!" My
hope is that all of you will love
scrapping as much as I do!
